Working For West Valley City
Cutting Red Tape and Supporting Small Businesses
West Valley City depends on small businesses and local employers. When regulations become overly complicated or unnecessary, it makes it harder to create jobs and harder for families to get ahead.
I believe we can protect workers and consumers while still cutting red tape that slows growth and raises costs. I will work with business owners and community leaders to identify regulations that no longer make sense and push for reforms that encourage innovation, investment, and opportunity in our community.
Fiscal Responsibility and Lower Taxes
Utah families deserve a government that lives within its means and respects the work it takes to earn a paycheck.
I believe in fiscal discipline, responsible budgeting, and keeping taxes as low as possible. As a business owner, I understand the importance of balancing budgets, planning for the future, and avoiding unnecessary spending. At the Capitol, I will focus on protecting taxpayers, reforming property tax policies, and ensuring government spending is accountable and transparent.
Infrastructure and Transportation Accountability
Major transportation and infrastructure projects have real impacts on our neighborhoods, businesses, and quality of life.
I will work to ensure West Valley City has a strong voice in state transportation planning and that taxpayer dollars are spent wisely. Infrastructure decisions should be transparent, practical, and focused on serving the people who live and work here.
I’m running for the Utah State House to bring practical, conservative leadership rooted in real-world experience. My priorities are shaped by the challenges families, workers, and small businesses in West Valley City face every day.
Education Accountability and Parental Involvment
Strong schools are essential to strong communities. Parents and teachers should be empowered, not sidelined by bureaucracy.
I support education policies that focus on results, transparency, and local input. That means ensuring classrooms are supported, teachers are respected, and parents have a meaningful voice in their children’s education. Every student, regardless of where they live, deserves access to a high-quality education.
Local Control and Community Voice
West Valley City should have a seat at the table when decisions are made that affect our community.
I believe state government works best when it respects local voices and avoids one-size-fits-all mandates. I will advocate for policies that recognize the unique needs of our city and ensure local leaders and residents are heard when it comes to growth, infrastructure, and long-term planning.
