Meet Dave Parke

Business Leader. Community Advocate. Practical Convervative.

Dave Parke has spent more than three decades building businesses, creating jobs, and serving families across Utah. With an MBA in Organizational Business Management, he held executive leadership roles at several Fortune 500 companies before choosing to invest his experience locally.

In 2010, a personal experience seeking care for a family member turned Dave in a new direction, leading to him opening “Home Instead”, a senior in-home care franchise. Over the past 16 years, that business has created more than 2,500 local jobs and provided essential care for thousands of Utah seniors and their families.

Dave understands firsthand what it takes to manage payroll, comply with regulations, and keep a business running through economic uncertainty.

Voice For West Valley City

While Dave has built a successful career, his focus has always been on West Valley City. He has lived here for over 35 years and understands the challenges and opportunities facing one of Utah's largest communities.

Dave believes in fiscally responsible government, practical solutions, and policies that reflect real life, not political theory. He knows West Valley City’s needs are not always the same as those of other parts of the state, and he is committed to making sure our community is heard, respected, and included in decisions that affect our future.

Dave is running for the Utah State House to bring steady, conservative leadership to the Capitol and to advocate for policies that support families, workers, and small businesses in West Valley City.

Family and Background

Dave was born in Ogden and grew up in a family of nine siblings. He is a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a mission in Concepción, Chile, where he witnessed firsthand how government overreach can affect everyday life.

He earned his associate degree from Weber State University and later completed bachelor’s degrees in Business and Spanish, as well as a master’s degree, through Southern Utah University and the University of Phoenix.

Dave and his wife, Jennifer, have been married for 37 years and raised seven children in West Valley City. Family, faith, and community are central to everything Dave does.
