I’m Dave Parke. For more than 35 years, I’ve lived in West Valley City, where I’ve raised my family and built a business. I know what it takes to meet payroll, balance budgets, and navigate regulations that make it harder to grow and succeed.
This experience is why I firmly believe in fiscal responsibility, limited government, and policies that reward hard work rather than bureaucracy.
I’m running for the Utah State House to protect taxpayers, empower parents and teachers, support job creators, and ensure the state government respects local communities instead of imposing one-size-fits-all mandates.
West Valley City deserves experienced, principled, and conservative leadership at the Capitol. I hope to earn your vote as the Republican who can win this district in November.

Like many families and small business owners here, I’ve felt the impact of rising costs, confusing regulations, and decisions made without enough input from communities like ours. Too often, West Valley, the second-largest city in Utah, feels overlooked. I don’t think that’s right.
As your representative, I will focus on what matters most to West Valley City:
Being a strong, consistent, conservative voice for our community at the Capitol
Supporting high-quality education so every child has the chance to succeed
Making housing more affordable for families, seniors, and working Utahns
Being responsible with taxpayer dollars and keeping taxes low
Cutting unnecessary red tape that hurts small businesses and job creation
Ensuring West Valley City has a seat at the table on major transportation and infrastructure decisions
